The next chapter in our new era of getting doxxed off the Jumbotron.
On Friday night on September 5th, 2025, Drew Feltwell took his son Lincoln, to the Phillies-Marlins MLB game at LoanDepot Park. Phillies’ outfielder Harrison Bader hit a home run to their section, and Feltwell raced over to retrieve the ball, going on to hand it to his son–who was celebrating his 10th birthday– in one of the proudest moments of his life. Then, a woman rushed over to the two and angrily yelled at Feltwell in an altercation that was recorded from several angles and caught on the Jumbotron in the stadium. After a bit of debate, Feltwell took the ball back from his son, heartbroken, and handed it to the woman to make her go away.
When questioned later on about the situation, Feltwell reported that he “pretty much just wanted her to go away” and stated that he could not believe the way she just walked up to him and his son in such a fashion. While some people online hold the belief that Feltwell gave in far too easily, and that the loss was on him for not standing up for himself, he takes the perspective that he was simply setting a good example for his son about how to de-escalate situations. At the end of the day, as much as home run balls are extremely rare and a once-in-a-lifetime keepsake, it may not have been worth exposing his son to such a harsh conflict for just the ball.

At the end of the day, things ended up working out for Feltwell and his son, as the altercation was made public. This caused the Miami ballpark officials to try and make it up to Lincoln and his father by bringing them free merchandise from the team store. Furthermore, the Phillies themselves arranged for Harrison Bader to meet Lincoln, take pictures with him, and gift him a signed baseball bat; memories and memorabilia exclusive to few.
This whole situation was seen as very unfortunate, but it did result in a mostly happy ending for the Feltwell family, with Drew Feltwell stating that, despite his small amount of regret, “... if I had the ball, I probably wouldn’t have gotten the bat. So it worked out fine.” However, the fate of the woman, who has been referred to as the “Phillies Karen,” is in question, but it seems the Internet will give her no mercy.
So far, an official attempt at doxxing her identity to the public has been made, reporting that she is part of a school district in New Jersey. However, the district made an official statement that she is not affiliated with them. This begs the question of whether or not the Internet will succeed in finding her identity.
The situation as a whole is oddly reminiscent of the also infamous Coldplay concert mess from July, and it is notable that we now have a trend of people being caught doing socially undesirable things on the big screen and being posted online for the Internet to deal with. The difference this time is that the villain of the story is not a rich and famous CEO… so we will see what happens. Regardless, the key takeaway is that people really need to watch out in these stadium settings, because misbehavior in them these days could easily ruin your entire life.
